When do I need a high-capacity home UPS instead of a normal inverter?
Choose a high-capacity unit when your simultaneous load goes beyond about 1.5kVA — for example a large home running several rooms plus a fridge and a water pump, or a shop with multiple machines. The Jumbo Home UPS range (2.75kVA–8kVA) is built for exactly this, paired with a 24V–72V battery bank.
How many batteries do these need?
It depends on the model's system voltage: a 24V unit uses two batteries, 48V uses four, and a 72V unit uses six. More batteries mean both higher capacity and longer backup. We'll specify and wire the correct bank for your model.
Can you install and service it on-site?
